"I was 19 years old [when] I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. For a while, I wanted to terminate my pregnancy because I didn't want my daughter to grow up without her dad. I didn't have a job. I didn't have a car. I didn't plan on going to college.
...[Now] she's the spark to my life. She's what I needed. It sounds crazy, but just being pregnant changed my whole world, and instead of holding me back, she pushed me forward -- and that was my greatest fear, that I would go back in life with a baby, instead of going forward. And she has moved me forward... So I'm really thankful for her.
I'm just so thankful for everybody who has helped us, because the help doesn't stop at the Women's Center-- it keeps going, we keep growing, and our children see it... so I'm very thankful for [the Women's Center]."
