Last Friday at the most recent Pro Life rally, highlighted by local media, brought the battle for life right to the doorsteps of our Philadelphia Center.
It was a challenge that day to maintain calm at the center and thanks to our staff and by the grace of God were able to see women and men that day who wanted abortion and yet that day they chose to come back for an ultrasound.
Those that came to the Center were already feeling lost and alone but because they came to us they were protected from the tension on that corner right where one of the biggest abortion clinics sits.
Protection is the key word here. These moms and their unborn babies need protection. They need care. They need to know they are loved. They need the kind of freedom that protects their right to choose life!
I know a lot of people out there are angry - and rightfully so! But I’d love to see that righteous anger directed into action! The kind of action that really saves people from the pain of abortion and being alone in fear!
That day, last Friday, I saw all the different political sides and moral views gathered together with the police force providing protection. I also saw the abortion clinic volunteers recruiting volunteers and gaining support!
