Be Ambassadors for Christ!

This is what St. Paul calls us to be today in the second reading to the Corinthians.

He says be ambassadors as if God were appealing through us!

That really hit me today!  That the God of the Universe could use us in His work to  save souls. And that we could become the righteousness of God in Christ.  

And that is the journey we are once again starting today... To turn away from sin and toward God.

To turn away from our own selfish desires and attachments and spend time with the Lord.

Today I think of all the “ambassadors” for life that spend time, talent and their hard earned financial gifts given in love to save the souls of women and children through the Legacy of Life Foundation!

You truly are ambassadors to the women and children who are alive today thanks to the sacrifices of so many good people!  

Now that’s turning toward God!

So we’ve got 40 days -- seems like a lot of time -- but it goes by quickly!

Some Lents take until week 3 to get warmed up into the sacrifices…. Why wait that long?  We’ve got a lot to offer you on your journey this Lent!

I am offering a way that anyone interested would like to turn toward life and experience

The joy of saving lives and transforming families!

This Lent, come take a tour of one of the Women’s Centers, or come to an info session to learn how you might be able to volunteer or how your almsgiving this Lent could change lives forever!

There is so much to do -- and as St. Paul says at the end of today’s reading…

“Behold, now is a very acceptable time: behold, now is the day of salvation”

True salvation is taking place and you don’t want to lose any time this Lent!
